The Bananaman Chase 10K is all about having fun while raising some much needed cash! The name of the game is to run around a fairly flat 10k route while trying to beat as many of the ten ‘bananas’ as possible.
The ten running bananas all have a special reason for being there, each having a personal connection with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The bananas run at different paces and start five minutes ahead of the mass start, so everyone has a chance to beat a banana!

About this event
We also have a Junior Bananaman Chase 2K for children under 12, so the kids can have a go at beating the bananas too! There’s loads to keep the whole family entertained with a live band, food and drink plus bouncy castles and face painting.
We support all of our runners with a bright yellow t-shirt, a fundraising pack, goody bag, medal and plenty of refreshments on the day.
The entry fee covers our costs. This year we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary. What a brilliant birthday present for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research if everyone raised at least £50!
